      What they're saying

"My name is June. I have lived at Mission Village of Menasha for one year now. I would like to say how much I like my home. My two bedroom apartment is large and open. Furnishing the washer and dryer as well as the other appliances is great. Other amenities I enjoy are the skylight in the kitchen and the ceramic tile in the kitchen and bathroom, plus the ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living room. We also have a wall A/C in the living room and master bedroom. The attached garage with enclosed storage is another outstanding feature. I don’t have to go outside to get into my car when the weather is bad. The manager is one of the best I have ever experienced and the staff are friendly and attentive.

Thank you Commonwealth Companies for providing quality living at a price I can afford."

Resident at Mission Village of Menasha

"I moved into Mission Village of Menasha exactly one year ago. Do I like it here, no, I LOVE it!!! When there is a problem within our home, they are "johnny" on the spot to take care of whatever needs that have to be corrected.  This is an independent living complex not an assisted living complex. Consequently, there are many of the residents who have taken care of the property to make their "home" look nice.  We have coffee hour every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and we have a lot of fun and laughter. There is a Social Hour late Tuesday afternoon, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. which is also a great get-to-gather. Bingo, Cribbage, Yahtze, and Sheephead are all part of the activities that are available. Should a resident come up with a good idea for more fun or activity, we would love that!  Also there is a beautiful community room with a fully equipped kitchen and a dining room. If a resident would like to use this facility for a family party, shower or whatever, all they have to do is reserve the room with Debbie Gordon, the best property manager I have ever dealt with in five different apartments that I have lived in. The Vice President of Commonwealth Management at Mission Village put on the best cookout this summer for all of the residents, and the turnout of residents was so greatly attended and enjoyed. Thanks Darrel!!! I should also say it was a great way to meet some more of the new neighbors within the complex.

So thanks to upper management, the property manager, and the great residents I have met as it has made my senior years a very pleasant experience and I feel at home."
